Duolingo Valuation
I have been a Duolingo user for few years now. Been using it to study French and Spanish I valued the company a month ago, made a video about it, and thought I'd post it here. All in all, I found the company overpriced , because I assume that it will be difficult for the company to raise its advertising revenue per user to levels commensurate to other platform companies because Duolingo does not benefit from the network effect. Furthermore, I also believe Duolingo will run into the account sharing problem Netflix is facing now. More detailed analysis in the slide deck and video.
